About BYC Crawley

Our Story

Srila Prabhupada

Our source of inspiration and guidance is derived from the life and teachings of Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who introduced the Bhakti culture to the Western world. His expertise and mastery of Bhakti-yoga teachings and practices have earned him global recognition as the foremost proponent.

Bhakti Yoga

Bhakti is a term that denotes the highest stage of yoga and the true nature of the soul, as described in sacred texts such as the Bhagavad-gita. Bhakti-yoga comprises spiritual practices intended to help individuals achieve devotional spiritual consciousness and connect with their Divine source. The Bhakti tradition encompasses teachings, practices, and artistic expressions that have been infused with Bhakti sentiments and passed down through generations over centuries.
